​​本展では、「⽳」という形態を通して、宇宙の広がりと⾃⾝の存在を感じられる空間を構成しています。鑑賞者は円形の⽳を覗くことで、遠い銀河から太陽、そして⾃分の内⾯へと意識を巡らせる体験ができます。
会場では、渦巻銀河や星団、惑星などが⽳の向こうに現れ、奥に進むと2025年に極⼤期を迎える太陽の姿が⽰されます。NASAの観測画像をもとに、プラズマや磁⼒線の動きを表現しています。光に導かれながら進む構成により、鑑賞者は太陽の細部へと近づいていきます。

須藤は研究者から、太陽には明確な境界がなく、太陽⾵が空間に広がっていることを知り、太陽を「外側から⾒る存在」ではなく「⾃分とつながる存在」として感じるようになりました。
紙に⽳をあける⾏為は、宇宙のスケールと向き合いながら、⾃⾝の感覚や距離感を変化させます。⼩さな⽳から家や⼭、銀河へとつながるイメージを抱くことで、私たちは⾃分の⼩ささと宇宙の⼤きさを往還する感覚を得られます。⼩さな⽳が⽣み出す世界は、壮⼤な宇宙へと広がり、普段意識しない「⾒えないもの」の存在を感じさせます。宇宙の動きを意識することで、⾒えない流れの中に⾃分がいることに気づき、世界の奥⾏きや広がりを感じることができます。

本展は、そのような感覚の旅へ鑑賞者を誘います。


This exhibition uses the motif of the “hole” to let viewers feel both the vastness of the universe and their own existence. Through these circular openings, visitors can look from distant galaxies to the Sun, and then back toward themselves. Spiral galaxies, star clusters, planets, and finally the Sun—at its peak activity in 2025—appear beyond the holes. Based on NASA images, the work depicts the Sun’s plasma and magnetic fields, drawing viewers closer to its movements.

SUDO learned that the Sun has no clear boundary and that the solar wind extends far into space. This led her to see the Sun not as something separate, but as something connected to us. The act of making holes changes one’s sense of perception and distance. Imagining links from a tiny hole to a home, a mountain, or a galaxy reveals the contrast between our smallness and the vast cosmos. From a small opening, a vast universe unfolds, reminding us of the “unseen” things we overlook. Becoming aware of the universe’s movement helps us feel that we exist within an invisible flow.

This exhibition invites viewers to experience that journey.
